i am learning how to build my confidence and step out of my comfort zone. i am very knowlegable so learning how i can share my knowledge with the team learning new processes and working on departments that i have not looked at before. very computer literate within my role
it started off not really understanding the programme, we had 4 trainers and felt we were passed pillar to post. now i am 8 weeks into the programme and really enjoying being pushed. learning lots of new skills and behaviours. i feel this is a very structured course that will make me a better version of myself
i feel like i briefly answered this question previously. this is a very structured programme, with some great support tools to help us on the way. the portal and fuse has everything and more. we now have a designated trainer who is there to support us along the way, with lifetime.
our employeer is very supportive of the programme as they are able to see the benefits the company can get out of it to. they are very accomodating in terms of the 20% off the job training. they have given me a manager mentor in store who i regularly meet.
we are starting to recieve more support, it started off very poor. the store had 4 different trainers at lifetime and nobody knew where we were upto. since then we get regular communication via email and know they are at the end of the phone if we have any questions. i am really enjoying this programme
if i decide to go any further within the business this programme will really help me. if not whatever i choose to do career wise doing the apprenticeship will make me a better version of myself by upskilling. every thing i learn on this programme i am trying to put into practice within my working life but also skills i can use outside of the workplace
there is no extra-curricular activities planned by the business. each store has a anual christmas party all the staff are invited too. when i am not working i have two children at home who dance and play football, so i am heavily involved with both of these. i also have a large network of friends
