I was given EGAs to work on and was coached to be able to do the work needed.
I learnt to work in Excel and developed my professional scepticism. I learnt how to choose samples, perform testing and document the EGA.
It was a really good experience. I met a lot of different people and grew in confidence.
I had the opportunity to apply the theory learnt in University at work and see how audit really works.
Good coaching and really welcoming people
Lots of social events- curry night etc. Not as much as other offices tho.
Yes
It weights a lot in the CV. Really good people to work with. Good support from engagement team and people manager.
To be prepared mentally as its quite challenging sometimes but we do get the support needed from the Programme Director from University of Reading, Dafydd Lloyd from PwC, a buddy and people manager from PwC.
