Customer service advisor, helping customers on a day to day basis also making our customers feel like they’re dealing with a person not a bank. Acting as a first point of contact, offering a personal service, supported by a range of great products. Building relationships with our customer, to find solutions that are right for them and developing my knowledge on our products, and the overall market, to provide authoritative advice and insight to customers and colleagues. Finally Identifying ways to improve our customer journey, and using my initiative to suggest effective solutions.
I've learnt many skills thanks to Santander and the training that I have been provided. The skills I have learnt are very valuable as they help me on a day to day basis and help me be a asset to the company. The keys skills that I have gained are mainly questioning skills and time management as these help me to work up to my required standards and reach my full potential in my role.
I enjoy the programme because I have met new people and made new friends. Also I've learnt new skills and able to apply them daily. The main reason I enjoy this programme is due to the shift patterns as I have enough time before and after work which is great.
I believe it is really organised as it all is planned out such as the length of the apprenticeship. I believe the way the apprenticeship is structured is good as we don't have to do certain things so there isn't as much pressure and we get extra time and support
I believe we receive a lot of support from Santander as we have managers to discuss our calls or if we have any problems. Also in the training we have floor workers who give a lot of support throughout the training and make sure that you don't struggle with anything.
I believe we have received a lot of support from our trainers as they have supported us throughout the apprenticeship. We also get time out of our shift to do the work required and receive emails from her asking if we need any support which is really helpful so we don't struggle.
I feel that the qualification which I am working towards is helping me in my day to day job as it is giving me necessary time to build my soft skills over the phone also help me deal with the many queries that we receive from customers through out the day
we have yet to experience any social events as we have just started, but I have been advised that Santander hold community events that we can join. One of these community events include the diversity network who hold ceremonies in the workplace where they bring in international food for celebrations such as eid.
Yes
having worked for Santander for a couple of months, I have had the pleasure of working really nice people. I have been given a lot of support and development by colleagues as well as my manager. I feel like the skills I have attained will help me for the rest of my career.
Santander are a very professional, organised, well structured bank. It is a great opportunity to work for them as the skills one can obtain are skills an individual can keep and put in practise for any future roles. Working for financial institution can look great on cv. Thank you for reading good bye
