My daily routine involves a lot of revision which I have spoke internally about to vary my day to create a better learning experience - this has been corrected to involve more relevant on the job training
Yes. In my first year I passed my retail banking and banking conduct exam which helped me get a better understanding of the financial industry. In this stage of my apprenticeship I am studying for Cemap. This gives me a more in depth view of the financial industry. My commination skills and confidence have grown exponentially over this time
My first year was fantastic and the learning and work balance was perfect. In this second year there has been some teething problems but after constructive discussions internally changes have been made to make sure I get the same level of satisfaction for the remainder of my programme.
My programme has been slightly disappointing this year but this has come mainly from the lack of urgency from the provider. Newcastle Building society have been proactive and tried to make sure I enjoy my programme. After discussions with my managers I have finding my needs are being met and hope to see the training provider do the same.
I have fantastic support network from my employer. We work together to make sure I am enjoying what I am doing and any issues I have are solved swiftly. It has greater enhanced the reputation for NBS being a great place to work.
I have not had any contact from my provider regarding this years programme and there was a delay last year. This is disappointing but I know from last year once the provider is working with me it can be very successful and very benefit my experience
I feel once I have the support of my provider I will be able to learn more and more effectively.
Yes - I am heavily involved with projects and events around work, making NBS a great place to work!
