Associate at PwC in assurance - working mostly on financial statement audits.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my professional capabilities during this placement and have expanded my knowledge of audit and financial statements. I have also progressed in my professional and client relationships to increase my confidence.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed this programme, especially in the Gatwick office. The company culture is very supportive and facilitates learning and development.

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

Our programme is well organised with a clear split between studying and practical work experience.

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support from PwC is good, with also receiving contact from PwC while we are at University. It shows that they genuinely care about our wellbeing.

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Due to the nature of the course, support is provided by lecturers while working towards our qualifications, and they are always available to contact, so the university provides support for this.

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Academic knowledge is vital for our roles and we are able to use what we have learnt at university when we are at work.

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many socials in the Gatwick office which is a good way e to be included with the rest of the office - there are also some sports events which take place throughout the year.
