I worked in the Edinburgh office for the whole of my placement. I was responsible for my own areas of files and also involved in the coaching of other flying starts.
I have developed my technical capabilities over this placement by developing my analytical skills in excel. I have also developed my skills with other PwC resources like HALO and Envoy.
I enjoy my programme as it gives an opportunity to apply knowledge that I have gained from university as well as gain experience in a working environment.
The structure is very good. I enjoy the fact we do not have a full year out on placement but it is broken up into separate placements as well as university time,.
I have a career coach and a flying start champion who offer support and advice throughout placement.
We receive support through payment for our exams and applying knowledge that we have learnt to real life audit situations.
I believe that our qualification has helped me perform well in my role by offering guidance in how to perform better through reviews and coaching.

It is a very good course that sets you up well for post graduate life.
I would say to be prepared for the interviews and admin days and stay calm throughout the process
