Role of an AS2 in PwC-performed testing over low-risk areas example PPE, payroll, Cash & AP and helped document high risk areas. Coaching anyone below us. Helping us progress towards a senior associate-applying what we learn at university to the work environment, learning to be professional & the technical skills of accounting.
Yes, a lot of new skills and experiences-university to work transition is a huge challenge. Learnt how to be professional, more theoretical aspects of accounting, more networking. How to be professional sceptical and interact with clients. How to coach people below us. Developed communication skills and accounting knowledge as well.

Very good-all timetables and key dates are sent on time. Communications always done on time regarding exams, placement etc. Everyone working on the programme completely understands our position and know what to expect from us and how to support and help us, Overall, definitely very good organisation of this programme.
A significant amount of support when needed and asked for. People managers, buddies etc are always available. They always look out for us and ask us when we need help. We are valued and recognised at the firm. Overall, excellent support from PwC and is always available when needed definitely.

Always supports and helps when needed. Very organised too. We will have done most of our exemption exams by the end of the programme and this is a huge benefit for us over those who do their exams after starting work. Helps us a lot get out qualification much quicker.
Yes. Social events are always going on-depends on whetehr you take the oppurtunity or not-for example, pizza making events, social balls, quiz nights, drinks, dinner, audit meals etc are always there to help us interact with others and have a break between work-very good industry division system has been provided.

Be open to new challenges and take up any opportunities that come your way. Don't be shy-you always know much more than you think and help and support is always available. Always be open-minded and take up as many opportunities as you can and it will help you develop.
