my role is mainly purchase ledger based in which I post invoices and pay suppliers looking at our aged credit trying to keep to a minimum. also posting the banking daily and maintaining the licence link account for our 4 sites. I also help out with any of my teams work they need support with
my peoples skills have improved massively as I am interacting with a huge variety of people I wouldn't have done before. also my confidence and time keeping has improved. also my accounting knowledge has obviously increased massively since joining the company having not had prior experience In the accounting world.
I enjoy my programme as I have a great team around me and the working environment pendragon have created is one which I thoroughly enjoy. I don't ever feel like I don't want to come to work as its such a nice easy going feel place to work
it is organised more now that people from Kaplan have come and visited as there was some confusion on few elements of the programme. I feel I now have more of a structure to my programme and a better understanding but it might be helpful to have a resident expert
they provide as much support as I could need, they are always very clear about being there to talk and offer help or advice when its needed. especially from other employees who have also done or do the programme as they know exactly the kind of questions we might have.
a really good amount. there are lots and lots of resources available online like study texts and exam questions and mock exams to do and the tutors are always happy to help if I had any questions. I can ask outside of class time which is very useful for me.
my qualification will help a lot when it comes to performing better as its all interlinked and if I understand the qualification i'm doing then I can understand my work better also I can spot and resolve issues quicker as I will have a deeper understanding of my work.
yes theres always lots to do. I have put my name down for after work football. theres also lots of nights out to get to know the finance hub teams better. always charitable events happening aswell in which people can socialise and at the same time benefit a great cause.
Yes
its a great company with good ethics and structure. always fair with employees and constantly looking for ways to improve and stay current and modern. I would also recommend pendragon as it was my first proper full time job and they made it so easy to transition from school to work. I never felt overwhelmed they made me feel very at home
you should always be yourself and show that you can work well within a team as I feel that's one of the most important values here because there is so much training and help offered that if you don't already have the work skills, the teamwork is most important
