Serving customers on a daily basis, hosting birthday parties for children aged between 12 months and 10 years old. Organising events. Organising and conducting staff meetings. Visiting sites in the Yorkshire region conducting health and safety standards and brand standards. Cleaning duties as required to meet the customers needs. Serving hot and cold food as well as drinks.
Since i started my apprenticeship, I have learnt new skills in team leading and how to lead a team as well as developing knowledge so I can do my job better and deliver greater customer service which means customers are coming back into the business to buy our products and services.
I really enjoyed the programme. After taking 3 apprenticeships in 5 years, I enjoyed it that much, I really want to strive for more qualifications within the company. If i do more apprenticeships, I can develop more skill and knowledge to further my career withing Greene King and the hospitality sector
The course was very organised. I had meetings with my assessor ever four to six . Every meeting we had, he asked me questions on what I do in my role and well as setting me homework to complete which involved paperwork to complete within four to six weeks and i have always completed what he set me to do.
My employer is very supportive in my development. Every time i asked him if i can start a new apprenticeship, he was very much behind me. Every time my assessor needed my manager to sign something, he was always there.
I have all the support there. If my assessor is not available, I can always ring the office for support.
Yes
It is a great and rewarding place to work
I would say go for it. You learn so much
