Site visits to take measurements of work completed by site staff and subcontractors. Dealing with subcontract payments. Placing orders with subcontractors. Dealing with the client and submitting valuations to be paid.
I have learnt a lot of skills that are required to be a QS which I didn't know before I started. I have developed my communication skills with site staff, subcontractors and the client both on emails and in person.
I enjoy the work and learning new things every day as the work is difficult therefore rewarding when completed.
