- Working towards the ACA qualification - Improved IT skills (particularly Excel) - Communication and team skill also developed - Leadership and ownership of work from early on
- Get to work with some really good people with technical knowledge -Company culture is good and there are various social an community investment events - Work can be long hours
- You can have your employment contract terminated for failing only one exam - Can end up working for long hours with little or no recognition
- As this was the first year of the scheme, there have been times when we haven't known what our college/exam schedule for the next 3-6 months will be
- We go to Kaplan, which is a very experienced accountancy training provider - Very friendly and helpful tutors
- Very limited time to study, as they can expect us to work long hours as well as revising for exams
- Can work 16 hour days with no overtime pay
