My job role includes greeting, serving and taking customer food orders. My role also includes taking bookings over the phone for parties, funerals and customers who just love the food we offer. I also ensure everything is clean and up to standards. E.g. table set up, menus, crockery and cups/glasses.
I believe I have developed more of my customer skills since starting my apprentice. Gaining more experience dealing with customer complaints and resolving difficult situations.
My preferred place of work is in hospitality so I do enjoy learning about the business in more detail.

When my apprenticeship started they where very supportive, however, further into my apprenticeship I feel I'm getting less support, not getting as regular training hours to be able to do my work and forcing me to do it on my days off.
I receive 100% of support from [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions], if I'm finding a subject difficult he will focus more on that subject ensuring I learn more until I am confident with understanding that certain subject. I know if I have any questions he will find time to help me if I'm struggling.
Learning more information on the hospitality business does help me perform better in my role because I am more aware of the brand standards we deliver to customers.
There are none that I am aware of or what I have experienced while being employed there.
