My job role is a call handler, as I take emergency breakdown calls and help people feel at ease when they are in bad situations. I interact with different types of customers and all customers are in different situations on a day to day basis, this helps customers feel comfortable.
I have learnt about different types of customers and how we can help them, I am now able to be confident with speaking to people on the phone and understanding there needs , I work better in a team and I can interact with other teams and other people within the business.
i enjoy this programme very much as it gives me a lot of experience, I enjoy it because I get to meet new people and I get to work with people who have different knowledge and learn from them. This helps as it helps me work better in a team.
it is very organised and the people that help are very experienced and have really good knowledge, also it is organised and structured well by being able to know where I stand with all of my catch22 work, as I have frequent visits from my tutor and also the on phone environment.
I receive quite a lot of support from my employer within my job, they give me opportunities to have off phone days to complete my work, they also give extra support such as 1-2-1 and understanding that coming from a school environment is tricky and they give me a chance for improvement.
Our training provider comes in every week and answers all the questions I ask in detail so I can put this in my work, also my training provider gives excellent feedback and helps me through my tasks, they also have 1-2-1's with me to make sure I am up to date
This helps me to perform better in my job role as it gives me more knowledge on how to deal with certain types of customers, I learn a lot from being on the phone, but when doing my catch22 work it gives me extra support and makes me think when I am on the phone how I am treating the customers I have.
in the business we have a charity football match, we also have had a charity singer, we also have bake sales for charity. We had one of our colleagues do a 24hour cycle, which helped towards the charity funds. within the business we have triple B and the Christmas party.
