I work within the compliance industry. Day to day activities include investigating alerts to ensure that they are in line with the customers profile or if they are deemed suspicious reporting them to another team. This allows the bank to ensure they re being compliant to AML/CTF regulation.
Yes. I have learnt a number of new investigatory skills, I have learnt a lot about financial crime as well as been able to develop the skills which I have previously acquired.
I really enjoy the apprenticeship. I think it is a really good apprenticeship as it allows you to gain a wide range of skills needed in this industry whilst allowing me to obtain industry recognised qualifications

Santander has given me a lot of new opportunity's to develop my skills and network with senior people across the bank. In addition to this, Santander has supported me to gain valuable qualifications and exposure which I think will help me towards my future career goals.
