My role consists of constantly monitoring the banks liquidity risk and managing the metrics that indicate a shortage in liquidity. We maintain an open dialogue with the short term markets desk to understand the positions we hold and report these to the PRA.
I have learnt a number of on the job skills as well as people skills.
I have really enjoyed myself so far, the roles are getting more and more interesting as time passes and I am constantly having my job enriched.
To begin with there was very little structure and certainty as to what I'd be doing in the future. I sought out new roles and experiences for myself. The educational side of the programme has been much more organised but still fell behind minimum expectations.
A good amount in most cases.
Not enough, emails are automated and not considerate of personal situations.
The qualification and knowledge that comes with it is applicable to my day to day role. The relevance of what I've studied has really helped me in the job.
There are plenty of sports teams, I myself organise networking events so there are plenty of professional opportunities there also
Yes
Good place to work with good people.
