Yes - after only one face to face session with my training provider I felt as though I had learnt some basic skills and experiences presenting in front of an audience. Day to day in the workplace I am always shadowing and learning.
Very much so, this is my first time on an apprenticeship and really like the concept of work based learning and all my training being relevant to my role.
Everything seems organised to date, I have a thorough development plan in place within the workplace and regular objectives/review meetings based on my progress. The provider was very detailed in their induction and set my expectations from the start.
A lot of support from my manager and wider team. Dedicated Social Value Officers are allocated to apprentices to support them throughout their apprenticeship and review their progress, provide guidance etc.
As I have only just started I haven't particularly needed much support to date however I feel that they will be fantastic when the time comes and are always on hand to answer questions.
I am given the chance to cover certain elements and build knowledge and expertise in areas I may not have had chance to yet within the workplace which will be very beneficial when the time comes. I feel I will be a lot more confident in my role on completion.
Yes - lots of opportunities to volunteer and attend events at local schools/colleges to promote apprenticeships, networking events.
Yes
Lots of opportunities within the business to progress and build a successful career.
Great assessment day recruitment process which is very engaging and also lets you meet key stakeholders/potential managers beforehand. Lots of opportunities for volunteering events beyond the day to day role, supportive Social Value team, regular award recognition for good performing apprentices.
