I work in the global technology operations centre. in my job i will be resolving alerts from different servers around the world owned by nomura. in some cases i will be emailing a lot so that i can get answers for relevent questions that i pose.
i have learnt how to work with servers and i have improved in my communication skills external courses have helped me learn more about my job internal courses like manual handling training or training on different software that we use in our day to day jobs has benefited me
I have met people that have helped me to progress and i have enjoyed my time with them
i think i am valued highly as nomura have many plans for me
i have dates put into my calender when i need to go on certain training courses and before doing something or having a meeting we always email and find out when someone is available so that a meeting can be scheduled appropiately
I recieve plenty of help he is always there and encourages that i ask him questions and go to him when i need help
i recieve good support as my manager is always trying to find me new things to do
my salary covers costs very well
because of work i have been able to do many things that i would have struggled to do in the past
Yes
you will be taught by people who have years experience and everyone is helpful especially if you are trying to progress
i would say be yourself tell the truth and show your knowledge about the job you want to get into and be enthusiastic
