I shadowed a member of staff who worked in rhe customer service department and saw how she handled the customer's complaints and inquiries. I learnt that customers are always right and as a customer advisor your role is to ensure that customers are well informed about the choices they can make.
I learnt team leading skills, listening skills and effective communication skills. I learnt how important communication skills is the work force, without effective communication there would be confusion as everyone wouldn't know what to do. This would make team work impossible to accomplish overall as the team would be fragmented.
I really enjoyed the programme and would do it again if I was given the opportunity to do the programme again. The programme was very insightful in terms of attributes that employers are looking for in potential candidates and how to articulate yourself during an interview to make yourself more applealing to employers
The programme was well structured from the beginning to the end . The programme structure wad well thought of which made the delivery smooth as everyone knew their roles and how to do their roles effectively. Each activity was relevant and very applicable to every day life and even certain aspects of school life
All the members of staff were supportive and willing to help at all times. I received a lot of support, my employer wasn't just a boss but a mentor that you could easily approach for assistance if you weren't quite sure of what you needed to do regarding your job role
I received a lot of support from the training provider which included an example of how-to answer the specific questions. They were always there to challenge my answers to make me think further as a means of challenging myself . This enabled me to come up with answers that I wouldn't of thought of on my own
The qualification gained in team leading really helped boost my confidence. I have been able to lead team buiding exercises effectively without any complaints due to the tips and techniques that I enquired at EY. It also made me feel more comfortable and not nervous like I once used to be.
I am not quite sure about the the extra curricular activities at EY as I never asked however I will make sure to ask so that I can partake in it as I have intetests in sports such as football and tennis and that would be a bonus if offered
Yes
EY are friendly and very pleasant to work with. They kake the task at hand easier and more enjoyable. They are very motivating and in process make you to aspire higher. Theu always try to make people think outside the box as a means of pushing themselves beyond their expectations
I would tell them to be themselves as in EY individuality matters. I would tell tp sell themseves as much as possible this includes their hobbies, previous work experience and times where they have had to demonstrate leadership in school or even during their daily lives as it's important to remember those attributes.
