My Role is business partnering key categories and functons within the business on all their projects. I am an IT PM working with the business PM to make sure projects are delivered to the best standard. I also look at automation within the company and lead on mobile devices for the site.
Yes i have learnt a lot of new skills and developed on skills i already had. For starters learning business etiquette and mannerisms as this is my first job. Boosting my confidence by gaining accountability, trust and increased projects. Communication has become a skill that i have developed as it is vital in my job role.
I really enjoy my programme and knowing that i am going to get a degree out of it is the most motivating factor. Gaining real life experience and putting my studies into actions is vital for me and makes my learning so much more enjoyable. The opportunities that i am already gaining are paramount and one which i would not have got if i was not on this apprenticeship programme.
My programme is structured very well with a lot of readings sent out in plenty of time and awareness. I think the support given from the provider is very good with plenty of regular meet ups. However, as they are using a new system with us there has definable been a lack of knowledge, help and information about using this - which is where the on the job work gets put.
I receive a lot of support from my employees. I get supported with my study day and time which is very good.
