My role is planning analyst role within group customer services. I use various tools and modules to accurately forecast expected telephony volume we are expecting based on customer letters that are sent out. This is then used to schedule staffing levels and predict customer future behaviour. I am also responsible for building a suite of MI reports from this data which then used to help future projects that group takes on board
I have been able to build on my existing knowledge around SQL and Python. This has also helped me in my day to day role. I have also learnt a lot about different networks and file systems as well which has given me a wider knowledge base of computer systems as a whole
VERY interesting!!!! I really enjoy the computer programming side so learning more in this area has been great. The course goes into these areas and I’m hoping i can continue to build on my existing knowledge whilst learning new computer languages such as Python and R. learning the principles of data has been a very interesting subject as well.
So far I have received a very good level of support and the tutors have been very knowledgeable. The training we have had in YARD has been very engaging and is always a very packed day. They have been able to incorporate a good amount of practical work as well
