I am a front of house waitress. I tend to wonder and do many other things like reception and kitchen. I make sure the guests have drinks, are helped out accordingly and in a kindly manner. If I am in the kitchen. I will make sure that the guests get fed and are happy with the food provided as well as make sure everything is clean and the time management is kept
Yes. When I first joined premier inn I learnt more about hospitality and how the premier inn system works. How to check people in and serve the guests well. I have learnt new cooking skills as well as pushed myself to excel in the work place with multiple roles in the workplace
I enjoy working with my team. They understand and are helpful with everything needed in a work team. Some things arent very enjoyable and some dramas in the workplace can escalate however it is easily avoidable. I enjoy the many roles that premier inn have and I am able to be everywhere and improve my skills on many levels
The programme is very structured. There are variety of job roles that everyone can attend to. We allocate the team to each individual role on a daily basis and wlswitch it up so no skills get forgotten. We have systems in the evening on who is running food, serving guests, on reception and at the bar
A bit of support. The manager is in charge of 2 hotels and does what she can. The team help and are very supportive so the manager doesn't have to moddeycuddle the team. We all lean on each other for support and whenever anyone needs help we are there to support them
I have just started out in my apprentiship so I have received an introduction to the course and I'm fully aware of the understanding. The meeting was very helpful and I know clearly what needs to be done to complete the task and what is expected from me in the work place when it comes to studying
I haven't recieved a qualification yet. However I do feel more inclined to learn my job role as there is a future in the qualification. It has opened my mind to many opportunities that the qualification will be able to give me. I look forward to learning towards the qualification and having it better my role
Unfortunately not. We are a hotel based environment. However we do receive rewards such as dinners, reward money and a good based team to work with. We have the opportunity to get qualifications and to be promoted which helps the team to know that they are not stuck in a role that isnt for them
Yes
I would because it provides many opportunities for you to learn and grow. If you do not want a buisness or to work in a hotel it does not require you to. With the skills learnt in the hotel there are many skills you can learn to help you achieve anything you want in hospitality
I would say make sure you are willing to learn and be hands on. That you are willing to brle practical and on your feet. If you are looking for a job role with many skills and to learn many thanks then this company is for you. If you want to excel in hospitality
