I have developed my skills in Microsoft excel greatly and also outlook at PowerPoint. I've had the chance to develop my presentation skills through promotion of the apprenticeship scheme. I have also improved my data analysis skills and my proofreading skills as my job is very detailed focused too.
The programme has been absolutely fantastic so far, I chose this apprenticeship over going to university and I have absolutely no regrets. I have made so many friends and contacts and gained so much lifelong experience during my time. I recommend it to anyone and everyone I can who shows an interest
The programme is very well structured! We have a scheme manager to advise on all things apprenticeship related as well as giving general advise about the business . A buddy scheme to help with day to day queries and a mentor scheme to help with career progression. This as well as the guidance I set from my assessor and qualification provider
I get A lot of support from my employer. The scheme manager is really helpful for guidance and advise I'm regards to the apprenticeship programmes, and my line manager helps me in every way she can especially in my daily job role. My assessor is really talented and knowledgeable in the area and can support me greatly
I get loads of support from my assessor. She's so talented in the topic and will is really flexible to do phone visits or Skype seminars. She is also really quick to reply to emails on any questions I may have, and will use different approaches to ensure I understand the topics
I have more awareness of the business around me and exposure to a business as a whole and not just my department. As my department is quite sheltered frim the wider business as a whole, the apprenticeship gives me exposure to other departments that I might not get in my role.
Yes they're many extra curricular, we have a team dedicated to organising after work or lunch time events. They're called the commercial smiles team and they organise events such as movie nights, pub quizzes, as well as organising Christmas and summer parties were the entire commercial division get together.
Yes
The opportunities offered and the ability for role progression is really good, also the benefits are a good incentive too. It is a great way to get your name out there and so easy to build contacts through your job joke and the apprenticeship scheme. If travel interest you then this job is fantastic
Just got for It! I had no experience in tourism or business and had never studied it before at all and I've fit in so well I to the role and do not feel disadvantages. I started straight after a levels and found the workload v learning life very easy to accommodate to
