On set rotation, the program is well Organise with 4 weeks on each subject, a gap week for people to complete the missing assignment if they have anything to complete. We are 10 in group on 4 weeks on a subject with simple exercises to get us understand the subject? Theory and practice
Yes I did, learn using lathe, milling, develop my PLC Knowledge, used 3D technology, improved Cad drawing skilled, and build electronic circuits, used 3D scanners, pneumatic equipment. In the last few month I started the program I enjoyed learning how to transform a simple pices of metal to a funcional object, from a gripper to jaw , clamp , bottel opener ,
Using new technology , ( 3D printers , Cad, 3D scanners ) creating and printing models , building parts on Lathe & in milling / on aluminium , parts that we done the CAD drawing few days earlier is amazing. The chance to play with new equipment technology is opportunity you don't get everywhere they are getting us ready for industry 4.0.
As mentioned it’s planned on 4 weeks rotation on every subject with a week at the end of semester to catch-up anything left to do from previous subject so everyone have all the time needed to complete the assignment practice exercise and perform to the expected standard we too.
All the support I need, as extra tutors as paid for extra math lesson, financial support is given too, if we need any equipment needed they get for us, there is no restriction on anything we need for our education/ training. we get the open door policy if we have any issues is a subject or other they will get us help.
My employer have a weekly review with us, to check how good the training provider services are! , we had some issues at the start of the training with teachers / we complained & the teacher issues was addressed immediately with new replacement, We also have a review with the training provider every month to see how well we are doing & what can be done to help us if we are struggling.
