Auditing clients, you get a lot of client interaction, and represent the firm. I have audited banks, so I have been looking at large companies who are customers of this bank and seen why they have not been able to pay their loans. There is a lot of responsibility here, and confidentiality is vital. There is a lot of coaching involved, also a lot of team socials.
I have developed my communication, confidence, teamwork and integrity skills. I have learnt many audit related skills too.
I really enjoy the programme, there are many people similar age and also like you. There are a lot of fun socials which helps you interact and get to know the team.
it is well structured as you do not have to revise while working on placement. Plus you get a degree while learning on the job.
At work we have career coaches, these are very helpful with any issues we have.
At uni we have a personal tutor who are very helpful with an queries we have.
The degree gives me a solid accounting background, and helps to get exemptions from the exams needed to become a chartered accountant (12 out of the 15)
I have got involved with the Pwc netball team, there is also a football, cricket and hockey team. In terms of socials, there have so far been cocktail making, go karting, laser quest, escape rooms, and bowling.
