my job role is to help customers that are struggling financially on either a daily basis or monthly basis due to one of expenditures. -help customers put plan in place to help them re-pay there debt or offer them to speak to financial advisors to see what they suggest is the best option for them with the financial situation
I have learnt a lot of new skills as I have never worked in a banking environment before I have always worked within customer service but working for a bank were you have to help someone on an individual basis when they need our help makes you learn new skills from communicating all the way through to actually getting the best outcome for this customer whatever that is they need
I really enjoy the programme as I am learning new skills form this and this is going to help me build my career within the bank to expand my knowledge in different departments. I also enjoy the way I get to learn new skills from the actual programme or skills I have already got but had forgot about
I feel it was structured and organised with my mentor I have as I am always made aware of what I need to do and when it needs to be done by they always give me lots of help and give me the correct feedback weather it is positive or negative but this helps my build on them parts
My manager is really supportive and if I need any help they are there for me in my apprentice time and always check up on me. Also my Managers manager is really good as they get involved and check up on us every couple of months by holding coffee mornings so we can discuss any issues and what is going good and what they can help us further with. They are also so supportive of us and want us to achieve the best we can
My training provider shows us what we need to do explains all the programmes and talks us through to VLE we need to use to find out the correct information to help us out, They also give us lots of different things to do on the VLE to help build our knowledge on other things such as IT skills
I believe my qualification helps me improve my performance as it helps you break down what you need to do in your job because you are writing about the different aspects of the job. I have learnt a lot of skills and a lot about my self in the role and how I have improved on lots of things
There is lots of different teams you can look at joining in the bank that we offer such as women's network, There is also lots of different charity events the bank offers for us to get our self involved with and this is something that brings the teams together
Yes
It is a good place to work and the environment and atmosphere with in the bank is really good its like were one big family and we are all there to help each other out. It is also good to build a carer in weather it is within the DM or if it is within different parts of the bank
I would just make sure you are been honest be yourself and actually show of what you are capable of so the bank see's the real you don't be afraid to give your opinion and get involved with things within the bank look at the bigger picture when applying and seeing were you can actually build your carer up
