On a daily basis I take calls as the first point on contact and either transfer to relevant departments, fill in forms or deal with the request if im able too there and then. I also have extra find and fix and clf roles
I have became more confident and proactive, My conversational skills have improved inside and outside of work as a result of this job. I am also more analytical and a better problem solver.
I really enjoy this programme to the extent is has made me more positive within the workplace and outwith
The programme itself is structured well, some of the questions seemed irrelevant but my apprentice person explained to me why they were there. Also i have had a few changes to the apprentice person and they mark differently which did confuse things at the time.
Whenever I ask for support they have yet to turn me away, they are really helpful although I rarely ask as my apprenticeship person is there to hand via email.
My training provider has designated an apprentice person and they are an email away so whenever I do require help I email them, they are usually on shift same time as myself or working from home so reply's are fairly quickly.
It has helped me learn some processes that I would never have learned due to not thinking of going in and reading them which at time I've been able to help other colleagues who are not part of the programme.
I undertake two extra roles, one being find and fix where i am point of contact for any suggestions or things that are incorrect and need fixed and I then send it away to another team, I am also CLF champion which mean I listen to NPS calls
Yes
I think RBS is a great place to work, it provides you with all your development opportunities and you do notice that people enjoy to work here compared to previous call centres I have worked at. I have already refereed a friend here who is currently working here just now
Be positive, confident, make sure you are willing to learn as there is alot to learn
