NatWest is a really energetic place to work, on a day to day basis I’m meeting people and talking to people getting to know abit out their lives. We’re constantly finding ways to help the customers and make sure they leave with a massive smile on their face.
Yes. I’ve learnt numerous skillls the first one being how to use the TCR efficiently and make no mistakes. The second one being how to speak to people properly another thing I’ve learnt is the numerous ways to bank other than just branch banking it’s opened my eyes a lot.
I wake up every day and actually look forward to going to job. I prefer learning while being practical I believe you learn a lot more. Since starting there hasn’t been one day where I’ve wanted to just miss work and stay in bed or can’t be bothered going in.
Very organised. I know what shifts I’m working weeks in advance. I know when my holidays are and when I’ve got a day off during the week. When I get there in a morning I know what time my dinner is and which part of the banking hall I’m in.
Since starting at NatWest obviously I’ve had to have a lot of training, this meant speaking with my employer a lot. They give me sufficient time to learn all the correct procedures and also give me enough time to complete my apprentice work and to make sure I’m on time with it.
BPP are great when helping me with my apprentice, they are always happy to help with anything I need. They are only ever an email away and any questions or queries I have they usually get back to me within the next day. This is very good and vital I have their support.
This helps very well I believe because it’s putting me with customers every day it’s getting me in scenarios every day where I can brush up on my professional skills the work I’m being given is all based on my customer communication skills so yeah it’ works perfectly.
I would love to get involved in extra activity obviously I work at a small branch so not much happens but id love to play football with my coworkers I’d love to go on social events to get to know eachother better. This would improve productivity and all our teams bond.
Yes
They are a hard working company that have the customers best interest at heart. They make sure day in day out the correct procedure is followed for staff they make sure all their staff is treated fairly they make sure we are paid generously there isn’t much really you can complain.
I would say just be ready to learn because there’s a whole world out there you’re not even aware of yet. There’s still so much knowledge undiscovered so go in with an open mind and be ready to tackle any challenge that’s given to you and youll go far.
