My role as a travel agent is to welcome everyone with a smile and make the moments for customers extra special. Even if it’s something small it all counts. We work in the bureau and on our systems. Taking payments is a regular thing and answering the phone a lot. Booking holidays for all over the world and having knowledge in these areas.
The skills I have learned are indescribable. From learning how to use the systems, to making customers dreams come true. I have learnt so many incredible things like how to be a better sales person and how to better myself. I have developed my people skills and dealing with customers in a better way.
I love my job and training programme with a passion. Such an incredible company to work for. If I hadn’t have come across this job and got accepted I really wouldn’t be happier anywhere else. I have never enjoyed a job so much and received so much gratitude ever.
I have never seen such an organised and structured programme. It is really straight forward and help is always there. I can turn to anyone and they won’t judge me. The learning path is clearly set out and easy to follow making it easy to know what I need to work better on.
Again, the support is unreal. Everyone answers the phone or the girls at my work place will always help me. Any questions I have they are answered. The support I get is beyond what I could have imagined when I first started working for the company. It really makes my job that much more enjoyable knowing I have the support.
When I submit my work they will always tell me the good elements and where I can improved in depth. This means I can go back and get the best marks possible. There is so much support in the training programme as a whole. I couldn’t ask for anymore support.
When I’m doing my training, I feel like it really helps me in my job role because I can understand it better and what I can do to improve my knowledge. The facts and info we learn really help to sell a customer a holiday. This overall makes me better in my role.
We have meetings to go to to learn new things, social event throughout the year and real mix of work and social life balance. There are many events a Christmas and it’s easy to arrange social outings with the rest of the people in my team. You get rewards also.
Yes
It is just such a good company to work for and I can’t express that enough! I never want to leave this job. Everyday is different and I couldn’t imagine my life without working for this company. It’s a real life time opportunity and if it comes your way, just go for it. You won’t regret it.
To be yourself. Theres no point putting up a front and trying to act as if you know what you’re doing. I started the job with no experience and I was really honest and open in my interview. They want to get to know you and your character, not someone you aren’t.
