I work in return department. On dayly basis I receive returned goods from shops and customers through our sistem. I sort them and consign them for wholesale or repare. Also I am receiving online returns and dealing with resending to customers. I am working on validation and preparing items for repare in the lab.
Absolutely everything was new for me. I never worked before in logistics and warehause. I have learned a lot about warehousing , logistics , IT sistems and company vision. I have learned about companies impact on enviroment . I have learned about health and safety at workplace and companies legislation. Also learned a lot about equality and diversity
I realy liked the programme because that allowed me to improve my knowledge about warehousing. this programme gave me knovledge about governement legislations compeny follows and employee and employers responsibilities. Also the programme gave me opportunity to improve my functional skills in English and Math . I improved my communication skillls as well.
Programme was organised very well. I had lot of workshops which gave me experience and knowledge. Mentors and assessors were very supportive and welcoming. Company was working hand by hand with Lincoln Colledge which provided us with support in learning functional skills in English, Math and confidence building lessons. Also programme gave lot of knowledge in legislation.
I have received a lot of support from my employer. My employer provided me with all training I needed to fulfill my tasks. Also all equipment which I needed to meet apprenticeships standard have been provided by my employer. I have been given time and resources to work on my functional skills.
Training providers were very good. Here always were opportunity to have additional training if I needed it. Training providers always controlled that all trainees are ready for final assessment and will pass exams successfully. I always could ask for advice to my coach if I needed to get latest information about procedures and also all updates were provided.
I feel more confident in my job role after training provided. I can work more effectively and improve my skills in different tasks. I would say that my qualification helps me be productive and useful team worker. After all training given , I am keen to work in safe manner which is essential in such a busy environment.
Here is lot of extra activities every employee can be involved in. Company has football team. Company is involving employees in many charity events and fundraising for social needs. Everyone can be involved in different types of activities. Two Company teams will take place in Dragon boat race and everyone can be part of the puddling team.

Company gives opportunity to everyone to improve their skills and also learn English language which is essential in multinational workplace. Here are good facilities and all colleagues have chance to use benefits which are provided. Company cares that employees can gain new work experience , learn new skills and gives chance to develop.
Everyone need to be prepared that there will be some role plays which shows your ability to think how to solve problems. If you haven't worked in this environment , better do some research before that could be helpful. Prepare professional CV which shows all your skills and work experience.
