Superhero challenge and personal finance- created our own superhero in term of the characteristics of a team leader to enable us to understand the qualities that make up a great leader. EY has allowed me to has allowed me to engage with ideas and debate different concepts which I believe is vital in studying law as I already have a foundation in which I am able to structure and articulate my own arguments. I very much enjoyed my experience, made lifetime friendships in the way as well
Very well organised. During my work experience, I also worked in Big lottery fund. There I proof read numerous documents relating to public policy within the public affairs team to ensure that all communications were in alignment with previous policies developed by the fund. It allowed me to be ready for the world of work in the future.
Case Study Analysis workshop: Given a business model where we were asked to identify the challenges of and concerns surrounding the business model and how best to tackle these issues by explaining how EY can help them by using EY policies. Mock interviews practice, enabling us to develop best practices and interview techniques in preparation from the world of work
Visited a Big Lottery Funded project as part of my presentation development called Hackney Connect a media group that creates Newspapers about older people, whilst there I was given the opportunity to review and revise my presentation ensuring that all information provided was factually correct. That allowed me to know that law and helping people was the career path for me
I was paid and reimbursed for this experience Even if I was not paid, I believe the opportunity given to us was worth it. Reviewed legal polices pertaining to the Funds conflict resolution processes, I evaluated and analysed some of these policies in relation to the current Laws and how this applied to the development of contracts created. Researched and presented to the funds strategic team a project from their Ageing Better division, focusing on the presentation of older people in the media.

I assisted the facilities team by looking at the allocation of seats in the department to ensure that all working areas within the London office were used efficiently by staff, feeding this into the organisational data analysis spreadsheet allowing us to see if money is being allocated efficiently and ensuring the seating plan is cost effectiv

We did a Dragons Den presentation where we created our own product, focusing on technology advancements in 2035 utilising future technology advancements – Such as camera sharpening, and hologram utilisation within your phone. It was one in a life time experience that I believe one should not miss out on ever.
Apply. Don’t hesitate and believe that you can get in. I didn’t believe that I was capable in comparison to the talented to people I had met during the project. However it is the belief in your self and the bravery that can get you anywhere in life. Don’t be afraid, because you won’t lose anything applying, but by not applying you will lose opportunities and gain regrets.
