Overall I have a lot of administration duties, which include making packs for our Assessment Centres, updating internal trackers, managing and analysing survey's to gain feedback about our Assessment Centres, setting up rooms for Assessments and paperwork. I also have one to ones with my line manager each week to catch up so she can check my progress
I have definitely maintained and developed my English skills, because I have to write emails, talk and complete my Apprenticeship work in a professional, formal manner this has helped me maintain and develop my English skills. I have also learnt new skills through the apprenticeship by completing some of the activities
I have really enjoyed the apprenticeship programme so far, it has been hard work and I haven't really done anything like this before which was a change for me, but I have really enjoyed it, I have met a lot of new people who welcomed me amazingly and I will continue to work hard
The apprenticeship programme I am on I feel to be very structured, this is because I know what I need to be doing on a monthly basis, I have feedback and am tested on the work I have done in the visits I have with [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] each month so I know what is expected of my
I receive more than enough support from my employer, as they give me time during working hours each week so that I can complete my apprenticeship work, as well as giving me time during working hours each month so that I can have a visit with [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] from Lifetime so we can have monthly updates
I receive good support when working towards my qualifications from my training provider, each month I have a review of the past months work, so I know what I have done, as well as a plan for the upcoming month, so I know what I need to do, this way I know what needs to be done each month
I feel like doing the qualification has helped me massively in my job role. This is because it has taught me new skills that I can use in the work place to help me succeed. It has also helped me maintain some of the skills I had before starting the qualification
At the moment there are no extra curricular activities that I take part in at work, although I did go to some sort of professional event, which was the Apprenticeship awards for Lifetime back in November 2018, this was celebrating the achievements and apprenticeships from Lifetime members throughout last year
Yes
I would recommend ALDI to a friend because they are an amazing employer, the benefits are amazing, everyone you work with is kind and makes you feel at ease, the hours are good, there isn't anything to dislike. Hard work is expected, but everyone in the company is willing to because of the benefits
Advice I would give to other people when applying for ALDI would be don't think the hard work stops after this, you must keep the hard work going because that is what is expected of you when you are working at ALDI, you must also be confident in everything you do
