  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My job role would be considered an Administrative assistant role, this role entails making/receiving calls, working together with colleagues and managers, dealing with insurance companies, branches and customers. My day to day tasks involve dealing with queries and complaints and processing reservations to get customers into hire when they have had an accident. A monthly responsibility that each member of the team has the chance to do is the Queue management this involves deligating people to each queue making sure everyone feels supported throughout each day and making sure the faxes are completed within there completed time frames. Recently we have had a group project to complete which was a presentation for the diversity group about women in power, each team member was given a section to work with and to research and then we brough it together as a whole, it was a succesful project and we are often given things like this to do in order to improve team working and bring new ideas in.

  • Each member of the team has their own personal goals and targets based on their level of work, everyone is thanked for their hard worked and we are often rewarded for the work we do. DLG will contact our managers with personal comments about individuals and will recommend Enterprise as a whole to their customers as we have a good working partnership. • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My manager will give me advice and opinions on my subjects when asked, he also has to mark my work each time I submit it as well as my tutor and will advise if he feels something doesnt make sense or could be better.
