  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the team and I did enjoy the exam as it gave me a good understanding of the financial services sector.

    4/10

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very poorly. This began at the start of the scehem when there was a 3 month delay in getting me signed on to the apprenticeship. Since its felt as thouugh no one around me seems to understand the scheme and whats required from the exam board. Also the exam board changing its criteria midway through the progamme did not make things any easier.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I do recieve great support from my employer. I am provided the time to complete my work and study where needed. The probelms have stemmed from knowledge pool and the exam board.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have had great support from my talent coach who has had great availability throughout. However changes to the scheme and the way knowledge pool operate doesnt seem to provide the best outcome for myself.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The exam was great and is very useful. However the whole portfolio process has been extremely frusrating. The fact that we can only use examples from recent months in my opinion is poor.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Barclays is a great ogarnisation to work for and I have really enjoyed it. However the apprenticeship scheme has been shambolic to say the least

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?
