Laptop Administrator Review

My work experience involved health and safety training within the workplace, followed by training on laptop components and the diagnostic/repair process. After we passed the training process, we began working on customer laptops and experienced the repair process and communication between departments as well as the time management skills.

During my work experience I learned skills such as; health and safety, communication skills, time management as well as how to organise myself and manage my work appropriately

I thoroughly enjoyed my work experience as it allowed me to experience a real work environment as well as learning the skills required. The staff are helpful and willing to assist you should you need it and the variety of work is a challenge and keeps me thinking of new ways to tackle an issue

The work experience placement itself was well organised despite the changes happening to the workplace.

I learnt very much about the company as well as the process and requirements it would take to work there. I experienced real work during the placement as well as the skills I require to get the job done.

This work experience placement has taught me loads about how I would like to further my career and what type of work I enjoy as well as where I can find it. The experience I gained during this placement will help me to get a job in a similar position in the future.

I was reimbursed the travel costs to get to the placement by my college.

During the placement I got to know my co-workers also on the placement as well as talk to apprentices who were on the apprenticeship.
