I am basing this purely on the fact I am now in a Technical role and the project I am working on is extremely varied and challenging which I love as I am learning at a fast pace in a fast paced environment.
Yes, I can genuinely say I have learnt a lot, technologies I hadn't heard of prior to joining CGI. I am now proficient in technologies such as: Linux, Version Control software, Java, Android Development and a lot more.
Overall my experience of the programme has been good and I have enjoyed it, would recommend it to others too.
In terms of organisation and structure of the programme, I had no complaints. It was clear and met expectations.
Support is always there if required, CGI has a whole network of internal people willing to help across the board, not just work related or programme related material or help.
Support from QA has been appreciated. A lot of it is self explanatory but yes help is there when required, though sometimes they do need chasing.
It gives you as an individua, the ground knowledge and the foundations to do your job that is dependant upon your role however.
Yes more than enough, you can also create your own events as long as you have enough participants and can get funding from the SSC which the Sports and Social Club. They hardly say no.
Yes
Great place to work, lots of benefits and lots to learn.
Cant say anything more truer than just be yourself throughout the whole process. Honesty is a big quality which CGI look for.
