I support the process of creating a bid proposal on a bid team. I help manage the authorship and quality of this document.
This job role has reinforced key skills such as team working, communication and the ability to develop strong working relationships. I have also developed a range of knowledge with regards to the bidding process, and a much greater understanding of our client.
I have really enjoyed my time on the programme so far and think that the experience I am having is extremely valuable and will result in great professional, academic and personal development. I am very much looking forward to completing this programme and see myself continuing further with CGI.
From CGIs perspective, the programme has been well organised and managed. I do however feel that at times there could be greater communication between CGI and the University of Winchester.
We receive a great deal of support from CGI with regards to our professional development. I also receive the support of my people manager, mentor and buddy with regards to the university content. I have however found that all are very happy to help if asked.
I would say that the support we receive from the UoW is to a high quality on our full day of study. The communication throughout the rest of the week could however been greatly approved.
The content studied in the degree gives a foundation to what I do in the workplace. I am able to build upon and develop the concepts, and apply them into the workplace, which I think overall greatly heightens my understanding.
Yes they are a great deal of extra-curricular activities to partake in at CGI, these include the Sports and Social Club, volunteering opportunities and sports teams.
Yes
I think this course is an amazing opportunity to kick start your career, I think the combination of study and work experience is extremely valuable and I therefore highly recommend the scheme.
To be prepared for lots of hard work.
