The apprenticeship is split that I attend University like a normal student. The only difference is that during the summer I spend 10 weeks working for PwC.
I have been able to develop my maths skills and business skills. I have also had the opportunity to learn new programming skills. PwC have also offered lots of opportunities to develop leadership and teamworking skills.
I think this Degree apprenticeship is one of the best things I have even done. I can't imagine not doing this!
There is so much support offered from both the University and PwC which makes me always feel like I have someone to turn to in times of need. As we are the first year that this has been run there has been some issues with organisation.
I get so much support from the employer we meet regularly which is really nice. We also have a buddy system which has really helped me to understand the company!
The University is great! We have a small tutor group with an amazing tutor and we meet up once a week and I know I can always go to her if I have any problems!
Without the university my job at PwC would be almost impossible!
PwC put on lots of drinks evenings and social events and there is even a group of apprentices who have formed a committee to work with PwC to provide more social activites
Yes
I think they are a great company with great people and great opportunities!
You have to put time and effort into finding out what PwC stands for and the things that they care about. It is always good to look at where they have been and where they are going!
