My role is to analyse data collected by several sources, in order to create reports and understand how the business is going. Along with that, I am creating reports on Power Bi, using SQL and Excel as data sources. These reports are usually requested by POs and other parts of the business in order to assist them to take better business decisions
My learning process is ongoing and exciting - I've developed my Excel skills learning pivot tables and so many extremely useful formulas. Of course one of the language I've learned the most was SQL and Power Bi - with these two and my general analytic skills I can create useful and clear reports for the business.
It's a fantastic opportunity to be able to master your skills while doing a job you like. Especially for specialised jobs, it's very important to start from the beginning and continue to the top. My team is incredible and support me through my learning process, and I am glad I am progressing fast
The course is very well organised. We received an handover with an explanation of the structure of the course and we got access to the learning platforms quite fast. Furthermore, we received the agenda with the location and dated of the off-site courses we have to take; that was a very nice touch as it helps greatly with organising my time, especially in relate to the job I am doing and, of course, holidays!
From the moment I received the news that my application was successful, I've been supported through and through. The team is incredibly supportive and help me with every question I have. Furthermore, they always challenge me, pushing me in a positive way to get out of my comfort zone, ensuring that I have the right knowledge and the courage to move forward in a safe environment
My actual training has not started yet, as I am having on job experience before the actual lessons. However I have already had meeting with my tutor, who explained the documents to be filled and went through the learning platforms, ensuring I knew how to get the best out of them
At the moment I am learning on the job, as my training hasn't started - I have the opportunity now to understand exactly what my job requires on a daily basis. In conjunction with the theory knowledge that I will acquire through the actual off site training, I am sure I will be able to get the best out of them.
Absolutely, the company organise a lot of extra activities, targeted to a wide range of employers. From sport activities like yoga or hiking, to more social ones like choir sessions and company's parties. It's a very active community and though socials we have the opportunity to communicate and connect with employees with the same interests
Yes
This is the first company I've worked with that cares so much about the wellbeing of their employees. Every year we can give our opinions about everything going on in the offices and in the company in general. The leadership team always make sure to keep us uptodate with their strategies and visions of the future, and they are always looking for ways to improve.
Take time to prepare. Be aware of your skills, of what you've done and be practical. Bring examples to the interview, have structured answers, clear and on point. Be passionate. Get involved as much as possible and live the company's principles. Never be afraid to ask and to use your voice.
