  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I provide clients assistance with their online banking platforms. Whether this be setting new users up on the system, advising them how to make a payment in an exotic currency or recalling funds that have gone missing. It is mainly a telephony based role with email cases also being done between calls.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt several new skills. Before this role I had never been in a telephony role. This has tested my ability to remain calm in stressful situations, for example when I have a client on the line who is unhappy with something. I have also developed my understanding of the financial world.
