Business Management including the delivery and control of projects, costs and hires within the Wealth business.
Yes
Overall a very good course. It is divided into three broad areas - Personal Development / Leadership (almost day to day basics of 'running a business') and Team Projects.
This is a pilot year for Cranfield and Barclays and therefore we have bumped into a number of minor glitches. However most are insignificant and the wider course is well run and organized.
Course is fully supported by the business including sufficient time away from day to day role to allow for development, additional internal courses (including mentors/coaches) and training and access to Senior Mgt if required for informal/formal feedback.
Early view at this stage but the training provider has been very supportive.
The aspects of Personal Development and Business courses interspersed within the program are best in allowing me to perform better in the role.
Yes. Barclays run an extensive number of social and networking events and activities.
Yes
One of the best firms to work for. Plenty of mobility within the firm (as it is so large there are huge amount of opportunities), strong leadership team and an open and willingness to listen to all colleagues to bring good ideas to the table/make a difference. Also a diverse and welcoming work force is already in place.
Be prepared to work hard. However if you work hard you will be rewarded.
