It is to do customer service woth people helping them control their finances. This can be anywhere between helping withdraw some cash to setting up appointments for someone getting their first mortgage. Is also requires operational activity like getting money from the safe under dual control. It can also involve things like complaints
I have learnt a lot of knowledge since I have started working on my apprenticeship. I have learnt how to judge a customers needs based on how they are talking to me and what that are talking about. Mainly the skills I have developed are to do with customer service
I enjoy the work side of the apprenticeship more than the coursework but that still is okay. I would prefer the work to be more accessible in branch and to work better on Barclays systems. I would recommend doing the Barclays finance apprenticeship as it will be good for my career
Is it well structured but in the branch I find it hard to get the work done from time to time due to sickness which is a problem no one can help. Knowledgepool have done good one the structure as if you stick to the monthly work online is will be easy to keep on top off

They will always give me as much time as they can. Sometimes it could be better but it is an issues to do with sickness but that is out of their control

I can also text Ben my talent coach at any point to get some extra support which is really good and make me feel better about doing my work
The best way it actually helps me is from readying the book, the knowledge that I have picked up from it. It is a really in depth book and when I read it I feel I pick up a lot of the knowledge and I can Implement it in everyday work as it is all relevant
There are sometimes like going to a school doing career sessions but due to lack of staff sometimes they can’t let me go due to a low number of staff in branch. Sometimes though I don’t want to go because of the events been help at a sixth form where my friends go
Yes
Because it a good company which does like to look after it’s staff whether it’s with a pension or even with general perks. But for a young person like me it has really opened my eyes as to how important it is to manage my finances for when I am older
To make sure you do it online then also to come into branch and ask for someone to talk to you about it. Make yourself seem keen and ask to do some shadowing. Make sure you are a clean and well present person because when being customer facing you have to be
