I enjoy the apprenticeships program I am doing as it enables me to learn within a working environment whilst being paid. The program allow me to learn and see how these skill can be used in the work environment. I also get to develop the skills I had before the apprenticeships but also shows me where else to improve.
The program overall is well structured and planed however in some instances we have had issuess where at college we are not told of room changes in advance. Also not told about when we are starting new subjects and where to go till the day of. But once sorted the teaching is good.
The support from the employers is there and you are easily able to contact them if something is happening or of a future problem or event. Able to phone and email easily. Sometimes scheduled visits are delayed but are rescheduled. The employer carryout different in work event / course on business improvements.
In the college I’m given the support on how to improve on the work I am doing and also shown if what I’m doing is the best possible work. I’m given records of what level my works at and given workable time scales of when the work needs to be completed.
The qualifications will help me in my work roles as it teaches me the skill that I will need to do my job. Furthermore the skill I learn that I won’t use as often will allow me to use that prior knowledge to figure out and solve different problems. The qualifications will help me to progress onto bigger and better job roles.
There are no extracurricular activities to my knowledge but as a group some of us to go out to different event and activities. For example going movies, shows and to meals. Sometimes are invited to plant to different work events. These happened before Christmas to see the end of year. We are also invited onto plant for different courses.
Yes
Yes and I have. They have even got the job and will start in the year bellow me. i would due to the amount of support you are given when completing the different qualifications. The amount of benefits we get like pension, salary, discounts and an education. Also you are being trained for that job you are going to do.
When doing the stages of the application make sure you include all qualifications you have and any reverences and work experiences. Make sure then in the interview stage you are clear and bring a project you have done before and show how you did it and explain what you did. In the team building process make sure your heard.
