My day to day role involves supporting the operations team in any way i can. My personal responsibilities are updating reports that need to be updated. A project i am working on at the moment is forming an apprenticeship for bame backgrounds. I interact with all colleagues.
Developed public speaking and networking which i love even more. New skills would be reporting as i have never done more analytical tasks.
I enjoy working full time and beingf involved in achieving a goal. The company culture has alot of support and it is very broad. You get to meet all different types of people. I do however, as an apprentice expect more support internally and externally so we can excel.
The induction was separated into two parts one was after 3 months in the role which did not help. Training is personal - anything i want to learn i ask for. Studying is difficult and i need more support. Could be more organised overall.
I recieve an ok level of support. All people work different so it is about adapting to eachothers style of communication. HR team are very helpful when i need external help. Guidance could be better as in who exactly to go too. Attitude could be better.
The support i receive is very low. I constantly have to ask for clarifications on the exams and course work needing to be done. I have asked many time what other support is available and had to chase most things myself.
What i am studying and the area i am currently working does not exactly correlate or help me day to day in my role. I haven't been able to put anything i have learned into my job yet. Overall i know more about banking.
Most of the social activities at work are surrounding drinking so i do not attend. Any professional networking events available i seek and book myself on but i would appreciate more team bonding events.
