I work in the customer relations team speaking to customers around their mortgages. We give information prior to their mortgage application the management of their mortgage accounts, updates via on-going their application. We also complete pre affordability assessments and handle the closing of the account. I also now work in the customer resolution team regarding mortgage complaints.
I have learnt to be more vigilant with my English/writing document as my grammar was poor. This has helped improve my professionalism especially within writing emails/ letters to customers. However, I do not feel like we have learnt a lot from this apprneitceship as we have never had a stable time to be able to learn those skills.
not at all. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions]
extremely bad due to no structure new apprentice development specialist all the time. Since going from Barclays to extender talent coaches it is been extremely disorganised with 3 months of no TC and having to self learn information that was extremely difficult to retain and in general read my self.
My team leaders have been supportive where they can be. However this does not always help, I feel like they always try to help but when we ask questions they don't seem to understand. I wish they had more of a clear picture from the beginning so we can all work together.
[This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] she doesn't know anything around the apprenticeship and doesn't communicate with us. [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] is great helps us even though we are not her learners I feel like the training dfrom capita needs to be better for new employees as it show in clear knowledge difference form jo to max.
I feel like it is useful for knowledge but it is a difficult due to book not bank policy. The book has different information to the bank which can make things extremely confusing especially when your just starting in your role. I find this very dificuly inittally as I was learning the job and the book.
no. There is nothing that I have seen. There has been a sky ball which was our awards evening for the whole site. I think there is not enough of this especially to be able to intrigate into Barclays and new departments especially when you have a role others aren't used too
No
For the apprenticeship side absolutely not. It has been far to dis organised and no structure at all, We have all felt messed around and unwanted. It especially has been difficult changing from Barclays to capita. I feel like I would recommened to work for Barclays but not the apprenticeship at this point due to the sheer fact it is extremely disorganised.
Try keep organised, as this is the biggest downfall within the apprenticeship as it has not had anyone who has knew what has been happening the whole time. This means it is very stressful and I wish I had been organised for my self as I feel like I would of been able to stay focussed more.
