Not alot of work to do. Too many apprentices.
Lots of qualifications and practical skills learnt.
The programs is enjoyable depending on which area you are working in. Some areas would get 1 star some would get 10.
As an apprentice we get talked down to by pretty much every one of the 4000 people that work here. There are obviously a few exceptions which is why this isnt graded at 1star.
Little to no structure due to lack of training advisors one man can not do everything for 117 people.
1 Training advisor for 117 apprentices is absolutely ridiculous. Needs to have atleast 4 one for each apprentice year group. Support from my training advisors superior seems non existent.
The intentions are good, but once again not enough training advisors. Placement managers within the business are the best form of support we recieve.
Could always get paid more.
If you are one of the golden 4 apprentices then yes. Also if you are female then yes, such as meeting the queen and the prime minister. If you are not, then absolutely no chance.
Yes
Pay is good, Good benefits. Worth sticking out the apprenticeship because should be alot better once you finish training.
Do a BTEC level 3 in engineering beforehand, you will be a new recruit to the golden apprentice family, and also you wont have to struggle through the college training provided by BMET.
