My job is to help customers with their electronic products and book inside repairs for their faulty products . We offer the after sale care for our customers, to ensure they get the best customer journey. We also show customers how to use their products, if they need help or direct them, to where they need to be, if they are not sure.
I have learnt how to be more confident in myself and in the work i produce. I also have got more knowledge in the technical side, than i used to. My ability to work in a team has improved massively also, allowing me to get more involved and give my opinions, something i struggled with alot, before starting this apprenticeship.
My programme was brilliant, I met wonderful people along the way and it helped me mature and see the real world, something i wouldn't have experienced in college. It allowed me to become independent. I really enjoyed coming inside as everyday was something new and the support i received was beyond amazing.
The programme was very organised. Everything was planned and we had a lot of different things to do while in the programme, to keep it exciting and new. We got all the support we needed and everything was very clear to us and well explained and if it was not, we felt comfortable enough to ask questions until we understood.
I received a lot of support from my manager. He was so supportive and always pushed me to do my best in everything. He got me out of my shell and made me the confident person i am today. He was not just a manager to me and my team, he was also a friend for all of us and was always there, whenever we needed him. Even if it was not work related.
We used to go to our training provider once every month. This was very beneficial and allowed us to pass subjects we didn't in college or school. We got to improve our presentation skills and helped us to speak in front of a crowd, as that was a weakness for most of us. They were wonderful overall .
This helped because we were taught more about the business, that we didnt know before and were taught things similar to our job role, to help us. We were taught a lot about customer service and what impact it has on a business. We were also taught technical subjects to help improve our knowledge.
We have football matches, between the two contact centres for curry's pc world, we also hold lots of events for charities, to raise money, we have workplace, that allows us to interact with every colleague in the business and were able to make our own groups for things we are interested in.
Yes
It was certainly a pleasure working for the contact centre, the support is great, the people here are friendly and there is also a lot you can do, to progress further in the business if you want to. Also a lot of charity work is done here which is great.
I would probably say that if your looking for a job, to progress in and to meet wonderful people then this is the place for you. One tip, is as long as your trying your best, that is all that matters here. They will give you the help to improve.
