Electrical engineering apprentice. I learn at the QinetiQ training school each day building projects and being taught the knowledge I will need in my future career.
I have develped my skills in soldering and filing mostly. It has also advanced my skills in theory of electronic circuits.
The work is interesting and the company and people in it are are all very good.
I feel appreciated for my work and the managers are helpful and encouraging.
The apprenticship has a well organised structure. The inductions were dealt with quickly and we have a set timetable that helps run everything smoothly.
My training is well done and i have regular contact with tutors.
I recieve a good amount of support from my employer. Regular visits and a number of benefits help to support me.
The salary is good for what i'm doing. I have had no issues with pay.
There are a number of events that happen each year with we are encouraged to take part in. We also have free 24hr gym membership for a year which is a great bonus
Yes
because of the opportunities and it is a better alternitive to university in my opinion.
Get everything you can out of it, becaue there's a lot you have to use
