My day to day work does change quiet often but i deal with awards submissions for the company and creating the documents needed for this, i also deal with the companies effciencies and commercial incident reporting on a monthly basis which means that i record all the data that is pulled thorugh from our systems then create a spreadsheet to send off to NWL
I believe I have developed the skill's that I had already gained such as customer service and communication skill as well as gaining new skills such as timekeeping and management. I have learned skills to help me keep motivated. i have developed my current skills as well as learning various other with the company
I enjoy the work that I do but would like a set role to enjoy the program more. I really enjoy working with the people I do and working collaboratively with other companies and offices. The work that I do day to day in enjoyable and rewarding but i would like to have a set role and position in the company
The learning skills partnership are great and have helped us every step of the way but i don't think the company are very organized with the apprentices such as not having set roles or jobs for us to do and not knowing where to put us. For example on our first week no one at the company knew we were even attending.
I receive support from my team members and some senior staff in the office i work in but i have not had any support from the team that took me on. I don't have monthly reviews and haven't been asked how im doing since i started, the office staff are great to get support from on the other hand!
I believe I receive a really good amount of support, we have monthly meetings such as a meeting in our office or a skype meeting and my tutor is always on hand to speak to if i need help! the company are great and provide all the help i need
I believe it helps me perform better because I am constantly doing work and unit's to work aside my daily jobs meaning I have a better understanding of the work and what is expected of me. Also because i have a better understanding of the work i can work better within the role.
I am part of an Early Careers Professionals committee within work where we organize sports and social events along with charity events within the office. This would include things such as football games for charity or our monthly dress down days as well as a monthly activity to do outside of work.
Yes
I would recommend them to s friends to get a role within the company but maybe not as an apprentice as i haven't had the support and care i needed from the company but i have from my training company. Overall they are a great company and team but need to work on support skills
That everyone is really lovely who you work with and that they will gain skills and knowledge from on the job work but that they need to be very independent to work here as we don't have much guidance from senior staff that took us on to the apprenticeship.
