I manage a team of thirteen advisors who are responsible for resolving customer complaints. As part of my role I have to do daily team meetings where we discuss the previous days performance and also relay any messages or changes. I also have coaching sessions with each advisor on a monthly basis
As part of my apprenticeship I feel that I have learnt several things, but also increased my knowledge on things I already knew. It has been good to understand the thought process behind the different techniques I use when interacting with my team. It has also helped to build my confidence when tackling complex queries
I enjoy the programme provided by Remit. The monthly learning I complete online are informative and enables me to take things at my own pace. I also enjoy the group activities as they are always good to hear from other apprentices in the same situation as me and to hear their experiences and tips.
The programme I am undertaking is very well structured. I am aware of the tasks I have to complete and the assessors are always contactable should I experience any issues with the work or systems I have to use. Whenever there are sessions to attend I am always notified in advance to ensure I am aware of where I need to be
My employer is very supportive of the apprenticeship programme, they allow me the time to attend my one to one sessions, and also the away day group sessions. My employer also gives me the time needed to complete the coursework I am set. Overall I am very happy with the support given.
Remit are very helpful when it comes to providing support. I have recently had issues with uploading completed work on to the system. I contacted my training provider and they raised a ticket straight away for the issue to be looked in to. They are very helpful and I am appreciative of this.
The qualification I am working towards with the training provider has allowed me to perform tasks better. For example I recently had a difficult situation to resolve, I used the information learnt in the first moth to assist me in my resolution of the issue and it helped me to manage things a lot better then I would have previously
There are several extra-curricular activities to get involved with at E.ON. There are sports teams that play each other inter site based. There are also social clubs that arrange trips and activities at discounted prices. As a team there are also events that happen sporadically where we would go for meals or other activities for team building
Yes
E.ON is a good place to work, it is friendly and ensures that all employees are treated fairly. As an employer it also employees people from all walks of life and then creates a good working environment. The staff benefits that are available are all very good and are the best I've received in my working life
When applying to work for E.ON it is good to do some research on the business as this looks very good when in an interview. You must also possess good math skills and be willing to learn as this job has a big learning curve. It is also handy to be computer literate.
