  • In the first year, we are in college this allows you time in order to get your bearing with the course and everything that it will entail without chucking you right in at the deep end. Day to day there is a large amount of variety in the tasks that we have to do covering many aspects of engineering as well as specific tasks to do with our relevant job roles much of this is hands on work learning processes and how to use many different pieces of equipment, however there is also lot of paperwork which can be overwhelming at first, when you stay on top of it is very manageable.

  • Ensure that you read about the business and get a good idea of the business and the way that it is trying to go, be patient with the application process, and take care with the application process and understand that you want to be the best that you can be. If I were to give a tips it would to be, to work hard, manage your time, organise yourself, have a passion for the job, don’t give up and other than that just apply.
